Day 1: My commitment and my goals

I will use my deep faith and guide myself into a higher state of conciousness during the next 60 days. I am committed to staying open, honest and trusting through this process. I recognize that I will need to stay highly attentive and listen carefully to the minute feedback I am getting from my senses. I don't strive for perfection but practice harmony and balance. I will accept my human faults and cradle my mistakes with love and humor. I will track and celebrate every incremental step that moves me closer to wellbeing and bliss. The following is a list of specific practices I have chosen that will uplift my body, mind and spirit.
  • Routine: I will complete my morning and evening routine to take care of my body.
  • Sleep: I will sleep 11pm-6am 6 days a week, Mondays I will sleep in.
  • Exercise: I will do a different exercise 6 days a week. Sunday I will rest. The schedule may look something like Mondays and Wednesdays: hockey or body pump Tuesdays: hot yoga Thursdays: WII and hockey game Fridays: skiing or swimming Saturdays: yoga
  • Food: I will strive for a balance of 75% elimination diet foods and 25% foods my tongue likes ie: sweets, breads, pastas, cereals, butter, cheese, meats
  • Journaling: I will write every day either in my blog or my private journal. I will track what I eat.
  • Intimacy: I will be spend time every day being my authentic self with my family and friends.
  • Spiritual practice: I will complete my Art of Living home practice every day. I will go to Thursday and Sunday weekly group Kriya. I will do my meditation practice twice a day, morning and evening. I will attend church or some other spiritual place every Sunday.
  • Silence: I will spend Sundays 6am-6pm in silence so that I might hear the messages being sent.
  • Responsibility: I will complete all tasks that I take on in a timely manner. I will continue to lead our church camp into success. I will spend 2 hours a day looking for a job or working on my business. I will spend time focused on my children in ways that work for them.
  • Self Esteem: I will continue my study of "Feeling Good". I will engage in daily positive self talk. I will create new affirmations for myself to use during this 60 day period. I will listen to Abraham cd's or uplifting music while driving.
Have I left anything out? I have experiemented with most of it the past two weeks and it seems to flow pretty smoothly. I am excited to see where this path goes and experience every little nuance of feeling that comes. If you are reading this please pick something to add to your life to make it deeper and richer. Any positive addition complete with purpose, intention and consistency makes a huge difference. I hope that my journey will inspire you on your own journey and together we can move toward bliss!
