Excitment

Had a pseudo job interview today! It was really exciting. Just the possibility of working puts a smile on my face. That and I have just been so busy and as we all know, I LOVE that! It would be a very rewarding job and I would get to learn a lot, I am ready for a challenge. BRING IT!
My youngest daughter got upset with me last week because I was being "mean" and "two days in a row, too":( I can't quote her without seeing her pour, pouty face. I really hurt her feelings, which is pretty hard to do since she is naturally optimistic and upbeat. I promised her that when I picked her up from her dad's house on Tuesday I would be back to being the best mommy I could be. I have been working hard on that. Tonight we sat on the couch and watch American Idol of all things. The very first time in my life that I have watched it or really any reality tv show at all (I didn't own a tv for the years the reality shows were coming out so never got into them). I have to admit that...I liked it! We had a good time. The girls and I love to sing so it was fun to listen. Not sure I want to make it a tradition or anything but... tonight it worked and I even let them stay up late to finish it. We shall see tomorrow morning if that was a good idea or not.
